Ball Season

Loving so much celebrations, and balls, and dancing Isabella always waits impatiently for a chance to wear a new sparkling gown again. She is the happiest of all aristocrats when the season of balls begins. Usually it all starts with her visit to Vienna, an honored capital of waltz. She stays in her favorite Grand hotel near State Opera house where one of the most spectacular balls take place.

The best time of the year in Vienna begins on November 11, when the ball season starts punctually at the beginning of Carnival with public dancing of the waltz in the city center.  On the day of the grand ball Isabella leaves her hotel, crosses the street in her marvellous gown, and enters the magnificent hall with thousands of candles’ lights leading to the huge stairs of the Opera house.

If Isabella stays on the New Year’s Eve in Austria, she attends the Hofburg ball in the heart of Vienna, in the former residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and his wife Elizabeth. At the entrance under protection of Imperial Guard, guests are greeted by valets in liveries. Isabella comes in her best mood shining and smiling. Everyone wants to dance with her, but she chooses only by herself and favours the most handsome admirer. She adores dancing all night long until the sunrise.
